Mr. Hotchkiss
Foundation Governor
My name is Chris Hotchkiss and I was appointed as a Foundation Governor in 2016 by Bishop Mark.
I have lived in Ellesmere Port all my life and attended Our Lady Star of the Sea Primary School when the buildings were attached to the church. I also went to Ellesmere Port Catholic High School when it opened many years ago.
I am married to Pauline and we have two grown up children, Catherine and Alan, who again attended both schools. At present my grandson is in the primary school.
I have worked in the Oil industry for over 43 years and in that time I have had several different roles. I started as an operator on the process units. My other roles in the organisation have included being an auditor for both ISO 9001 and 14000, a training supervisor and an IT application support specialist. My current role is as a data analyst, looking at data from around the refinery. I am looking forward to my retirement at the end of June 2017.
I have been Scouting for over 30 years and at present I am Scout Leader helping to run both a Beaver colony and a Cub pack.
As a governor I hope that my wealth of experience can help the school move from 'Good' to 'Outstanding'.
